Dr. Devatara J. Holman, MS, MA, DACM, L.Ac.

As a primary care practitioner, a specialist in Oriental Medicine, and a Buddhist teacher, Dr. Devatara Holman is exceptionally trained in the Oriental Spiritual and Healing Arts. She is a doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. Dr. Devatara is recognized as Venerable Dharma Acharya, and authorized as Upasika Bodhisattva, Guiding Buddha Path Dharma Teacher in the Dzogchen Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, under the guidance of H.E. Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. She has been recognized as a Qigong Master in the Emei Linji Chan school of Chinese Buddhism under Emei Qigong Lineage Head, Grand Master Fu Wei Zhong, and was a heart disciple of Osho Rajneesh. She speaks Chinese fluently and lived in China, Tibet, and India for almost a decade, where she studied the practical integration of medicine and spiritual practices.

Her understanding of both Eastern methods and the Western mind makes her uniquely capable as both a healer/health practitioner and a spiritual teacher. Dr. Devatara teaches and lectures around the world on the topics of health and healing, Physio-cognitive Medicine™, Buddhist medicine, the Buddha Dharma, and Emei Qigong. She has dedicated her life to the benefit of all beings and to provide a bridge for demystifying and applying the highest teachings and principles of physical and mental-emotional health, spiritual development and transcendence to the full spectrum of human life and experience.
