In addition, students will develop a clear, cognitive understanding of the theory behind these techniques. This seminar is the first in a multi-level training program offering advancement to teaching status.
The teachings and practices offered in this course are based on the 800-year-old Emei Linji Chan Lineage of the Sino-Tibetan borderland—ancient knowledge, some of which has only become available to the lay population in the last ten years.
A senior student of Emei Lineage Head, Grandmaster Fu Weizhong since 1995, and student of Emei methods since 1985, Devatara Holman has been granted the privilege of offering these teachings and is making them available in our community. She lived in the border region of China and Tibet for seven years during the 1980’s, where she began her study of Buddhist medicine and the integration of medicine and spiritual practices. She has dedicated her life to increasing awareness of the benefits of Buddhist medicine and the wisdom of the Emei Linji Chan Lineage.

This course will involve lecture, still and moving practices for healing oneself, and hands-on practice for healing self and others. Areas to be covered in this course include:
